<p>mews is great, and it doesn’t have a fitness center, but it is the closest dorm to appel (2 seconds away).</p>
<p>there’s an east and west side - both are connected at the first floor but for the most part function as 2 separate dorms. There are 3 floors</p>
<p>for the most part it’s the best/most modern dorm, the only major cons are:
-you need to swipe the card twice to get anywhere - once for the main door and once for either stairs or elevator
-doors don’t automatically prop open
-walls paper thin</p>
<p>most suites are 5 people - 2 doubles and a single to a bathroom. it’s not hard to hang out with people outside your suite at all, other floors maybe, but you’ll basically hang out with your floor. lounges are very nice. over all a good dorm, and you don’t even have to deal with the risk of a bad roommate, so you should be fine</p>
