<p>Being admitted for Jan. has nothing to do with your transcripts. Holyoke wouldn’t have admitted you if you weren?t eminently qualified. Middlebury College has the same program, except they?re called Feb Fresh. I had a friend that was a Feb Fresh… He was a Choate prep school grad and graduated from Midd with honors. He was also admitted to the top law schools. So, as you can see, the brightest are admitted mid-term too :)</p>
<p>What’s actually going on is available space. There are more qualified applications than dorm rooms. Holyoke enrolls a portion of the class mid-term b/c there will be more available beds in Jan. The jrs studying abroad for only second semester will be gone.</p>
