<p>Another vote for the drive up M-22. It is beautiful. Half of the families on our block (in Central OH) have “M-22” stickers on our cars. Coincidence? I think not ;)</p>

<p>I haven’t read the thread just the title. I live on the west coast and have no family in the Midwest but I have fallen for all the Michigan state travel commercials that air on TV. MyH just said last night that one of these days we should go to Michigan. Whoever came up with their advertising campaign has done a great job.</p>
<p>mom60, I’m a native New Englander and I think the Lake Michigan coast is absolutely stunningly beautiful. Coming from the east coast I never thought I’d say that about any place in the midwest. If it weren’t such a long drive for us, we’d probably own property up there.</p>
<p>abasket, we’ve been staying at the Inn every year for 18 years (since D2 was an infant) and we are still considered newcomers - some families have been vacationing there for generations. It is a magical place.</p>
