Mid year grade reports?

<p>As Matt McGann explains here [MIT</a> Admissions | Blog Entry: “For EA Deferred Students”](<a href=“http://www.mitadmissions.org/topics/misc/miscellaneous/for_ea_deferred_students_1.shtml]MIT”>http://www.mitadmissions.org/topics/misc/miscellaneous/for_ea_deferred_students_1.shtml), you can download the mid-year grade report form from the MIT website. I suggest that you download the form, give it to your school counselor, and let the counselor submit the mid-year report your school commonly sends to colleges and universities (i.e., the first trimester grades). Even though MIT already has these grades on the transcript in your application file, following these steps will ensure that your school officially confirms those grades as meeting the mid-year reporting requirement.</p>
