I had an interview, and it was really nice! We talked about politics and my interviewer and I had fairly congruent political opinions which was good, lol, esp considering he asked which candidates I supported.
I loved Midd when I visited and I’m really drawn to their global studies program after looking more into it — I’ll probably major in Global Security Studies.
Waiting for Ivy day/Stanford, but so far I’m leaning towards going to Midd and I’m not expecting anything tomorrow/Friday

@goldmidnight7 Well, I got waitlisted by all the schools I would pick over Midd: Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Michigan, and Dartmouth (after being deferred ED), so I’m most likely going to enrol in Middlebury! What happened with your decisions?

Visited campus this past summer, loved it!
Does anyone know my chances of getting off the waitlist? Middlebury is my top choice and I’m wondering what I can do now to get in. I was honestly devastated when I got waitlisted.
@ps20983 - With Covid-19, I don’t know that anyone has much idea of what’s going to happen with the Waitlist.
I’d contact Midd and make it clear that Midd is your top choice, and follow up with any additional grades/info to update your packet. If you haven’t already, reach out to someone in Bio whose interest mirror yours.
Good luck!
@ps20983 I was also waitlisted at Midd with similar stats to yours and I so want to get in off waitlist. I send a long LOCI and an additional letter of rec from a teacher. Wishing you luck, too. Where are you thinking about enrolling if you don’t get off waitlist?
thank god
Did you decide where you are going?
@BrehMement42 - did you decide where you are going to go?
Did anyone that was waitlist get off?
Deposits were due on May 1, so it’s unlikely that there’s been any movement on the waitlist. The Admissions office will know next week if they’re over- or under-enrolled.
I just received a call today that I got off the waitlist for the fall.
