<p>Thirty years ago I could see them attempting something in the same vein; there was a similar lightheartedness and reluctance to take themselves too seriously that easily made them the more likable of the two Massachusetts members of NESCAC. A lot of that seems to have gone by the wayside, a consequence of its dynastic ambitions, IMHO.</p>
