<p>OP here. I’m happy to report that it’s almost clean, and all I did was use Clorox wipes. I will try a scrub brush dipped in water / beach for the rest of it, but it was much easier to clean than I thought it would be. We may not even need to repaint, which I was worried about. Thanks all.</p>
<p>In order to maintain my insurance license, I have attended tons of continuing education classes, many taught by water restoration companies. They tell us that bleach does not kill the mildew/mold, it merely removes its color. One instructor let it slip that the ingredient they use to kill mold is found in Chloraseptic throat spray. Never have tried it, but it wouldn’t hurt.</p>
