<p>I’d say Boston has changed (improved) quite a bit since the busing and race controversies of the 1970s. The Northeastern Univ area is quite diverse. There are black owned businesses (restaurants) directly adjacent to the campus. A friendly Asian-American student helped me find my way to the Basketball arena during one visit to Northeastern. Some of the immediate neighborhood is undergoing a flurry of economic development.</p>
