Missed a CAL conditions of admission by...

This is what my Conditions of Admission says:

"You must complete all UC-transferable courses in progress or planned with an overall B average, with no grade lower than a C. Immediately contact your Admissions Officer if you will not be able to meet this condition. "

my major is History

not to be a ass or anything BUT who is at fault here

i don't think the OP is trying to put the blame on anyone. he already acknowledged that he has no excuse and understands it was his fault. i think he just wanted to vent.

Did you apply to any other schools? I know almost all the other UCs have easier conditional agreements. If you did, contact/email/mail them right away because you can still get your spot back, even if you declined already!!!

Wait, if you got a 4.0, 3.0, 3.0, 2.0 doesn't that equate to a 3.0?

EDIT: Oh wait, I guess the classes vary by units.

I'm sorry to hear that. Either way, you're grades are still great. Don't be too hard on yourself. <3

Coming from a near three-year CC student... it's okay. You will survive. Learning from your mistakes is often the best learning process anyone could go through. The world tells us that we need to do everything perfect starting from birth, but that's not how reality really turns out to be, right? So long as you stay vigilant and not let your past mistakes happen again, you will eventually succeed. I hope you can pick up something positive from this experience.

damn dcsportsfan, why u gotta be so anal all the time? lol

Oh my god, I'm so sorry! Just take some time to think and get yourself together. Don't think it's the end of the world! I wish you luck :)

Stats is a GPA ruiner.

I don't know if it's too late but try to find a community college with an inter-spring semester. Take ANY class and get anything higher than a C.

^^^Actually, it would have to be higher than a B.

You can take an extension class through Berkeley or other schools such as BYU. They are self-paced classes taught online through learning tutorials and such that give you about 6 months to complete. Find the easiest class you can find, make sure it is transferable, and focus your next few weeks on acing the class.

beowulf, I don't really know im just a dick in general I guess I don't like attention whores like this, someone ****ed up and now wants our sympathy, I mean it sucks and I get that but in the end it is their fault and whining doesn't change anything suck it up and face the consequences

^ a tad harsh...non?
