@JuneSnow Thank you! My child was worried
@curiousme2 I don’t either
Thank you @anthropology28
@yesican2020 Chris Peterson was hilarious! My favorite info session, as well. I got an interview for MIT at the very end of February – it was my last interview, and I actually didn’t think it went that well (making the acceptance an even bigger surprise). All of my friends were offered interviews much, much earlier. I’m not sure how the process works but it definitely doesn’t have 100% correlation with acceptance.
Daughter was accepted!
Accepted!! International student from Colombia!!! 1500 SAT, 800 M2, 730 Chem, AP International diploma, AP Scholar with Distinction, etc.
Accepted after being deferred! I couldn’t believe it, I was completely prepared for rejection. After reading the acceptance letter I just stared at my wall in disbelief for 5 minutes ;).
anyone knows the statistics of RD?
Congratulations to all those accepted. Now you’ve really got your work cut out for you.
And for those of you who weren’t accepted; congratlations for being such good students. I’m sure the college that gets you will be proud and you’ll be proud of your college. And you too have your work cut out for you.
I am an EC and so don’t get to see anything about the application but what I write. I see students whose personalities are some of what I think would really do well at MIT but only to see them rejected. I had one woman who fit that category this RD round. It makes me feel sad that she didn’t get in but I’m sure she’ll do well wherever she goes.
Congrats to all the acceptances!
I was rejected loll
But I made pie for pi day so like… good day
Accepted!
I’m an international student and had planned to visit MIT with my parents before 1 May. Such a pity we can’t go now
Georgetown? I thought their RD is not out.
@Nvidia20 I didn’t think UVA had theirs out yet either
UVA and Georgetown have early action.
Thank you, am9799. That’s correct: my daughter got into Georgetown and UVA in their early action round.

It sucks that CPW is cancelled, but if MIT sends out more free shirts, that can make up for it.
