Yes, as far as I know, that comment is still true. Every year, MIT does accept some students with scores below Chris’ rule of thumb, but there is always a strong story, and they are very, very, very few.

Where can I find the February Update and Notes form on MyMIT? Each time I click the link for it on the Online Application and Tracking section, it takes me to this link: http://mitadmissions.org/apply/freshman/midyear, which is not what I’m looking for I think.

Tracking the status of our financial aid application on MyMIT starts in the middle of February?
Does anyone know how to get the supplemental material cover sheet?
My midterms came out after February 15th, so I faxed a copy to them. But just to be 100% sure, we were supposed to fax it to 617.687.9184 (found it on the MIT website somewhere) right? Should I email admissions and ask them if they received it?
Does anyone know when admitted students should expect to receive the TUBE in the mail?
I do not know but I have been checking everyday for it, can not wait for the tube.
