The deadline for interview reports was January 6 for domestic interviews. No reason to think international would be different as the international applications are due at the same time as domestic applications.
It seems to be a common conception that interviews for Indian applicants are only granted to the more qualified ones. However, this conception seems to only arise among applicants themselves and is in direct opposition to the stated policy on the MIT web site. The timing of the interview within the application process looks to me to support the MIT web site. How can one determine whether to grant an interview when you may not have submitted your application and the turnaround time from application due to interview report due is so short.
