Yeah, I submitted that about 3 days before the deadline. Recently, I noticed that they took down the webpage for the online app.

Yeah, they did that I think about maybe a few days after the deadline.

Someone mentioned this earlier, but why do you guys think MITES wants to send the decisions by mail rather than e-mail?

I think it’s because some people don’t check their emails very often. If they send it through snail mail, they can at least guarantee higher chances that you’ll be notified about your acceptance/rejection early enough. I’m pretty sure everyone (or their parents) checks their mail box everyday for important letters and stuff.

Oh haha. That’s true! I didn’t even think about it because everyone’s so tech-savvy nowadays. =D Yeah, but I would think that people who applied would check their e-mail if they knew the decisions were sent that way. Ah well… April what was it, 16th? I think.

I noticed that some of last year’s MITES applicants started a list here on College Confidential. I just thought that maybe we could do the same :)
