@hpaero1 truee… ahhh so many deadlines are coming up for summer programs and stuff, and idk i’m not allowed to do anything i have to hear from MITES first before making any descions. My counselor is already planning and taking people for College Courses :O

@GAC1107 omgsh thats amazing!!! ughh. i wanna get into Stanford soooo bad. its such an amazing school! :)

A kid in my grade at my school is getting recruited for basketball at Stanford.

I’m so jealous :(

@GAC1107

@jbrown
Yeah… I know the feeling lol
Someone at my school (a junior) got recruited by Princeton for soccer… I think they already have an agreement or something.

@Robert
oh… that sucks. I didn’t apply to anything else besides like 3 summer programs and one other thing. College courses for the summer?

I just re-read my Mites essays and my first reaction was that I got rejected. How I didn’t catch those grammatical mistakes after proof-reading like a zillion times is beyond me. O well on the bright side now a rejection won’t hurt as much.

^
Haha yeah, I read mine over a couple weeks ago and found grammatical mistakes even though I had proofread it multiple times before I submitted. It happens I guess lol

@hpaero1 yeeah, college courses for tha summmer, lol.
i’m thinking i should just do them or ahh idk haha.

@somead896 ■■■■■ i haven’t even re-read my stuff, lol. hmm now i’m wondering if i should? nahhh. haha

Its for those with lower income–I don’t qualify.

these is a thread about quest bridge under financial aid.

@nil desperandum

haha, I agree. I do hope they have nice rejection letters. =)
I think I qualify economic wise, but not grade wise lol

@Robert

Oh thanks, I’m gonna look at that. =)

@hpaero1 yeah older siblings are TOTALLY helpful lol. my brother chose my whole high school schedule :stuck_out_tongue: haha. he wants me to go to MIT with him :confused: but i dont really want to follow in his footsteps… so ah idk.

@joshtch ahh two weeks! i’m scared… lol. you’ll know if you get accepted or not by what they send you through the mail most likely :stuck_out_tongue: lol. if its an envelope you prolly got denied, if its something bigger you probably got accepted… lol.

@Robert
Ohh, seriously? that’s nice of him =D
I guess I’ll guide my little sis when she reaches high school =p

@hpaero1 yeah it was nice of him :slight_smile: lol. it helped me a lot haha. yeah you should :slight_smile: i can’t guide my little brother, he’s too regular :stuck_out_tongue: haha.
