nope because when i listen to music i MUST sing along. it’s not an option. sooo then i can’t concentrate. but actually that’s only if it’s english or euro. for french, chem, calc, and physics, i don’t really need to concentrate. but i still don’t listen to music. lol i’m not making sense to myself. sowee guyzzz.

Yep, yep. I feel the same way! If it’s a song that I like, I can’t not be distracted by it. I just don’t get how people can concentrate. Do they like play music but block it out of their minds so they can think?

I’m so happy! I’m missing stuff from my app. MITES emailed me earlier. Now I know MITES is alive and that most of my stuff has arrived! I was worried there for a while…

^ I like listening to music while working out math problems and when I read. However, I don’t like listening to music when I do other homework. I usually end up thinking about how the song was composed for several minutes before realizing that I’m getting distracted lol.

I got it earlier this morning.

It’s late, yes, but I don’t mind. I’m happy to be getting some confirmation mail that my application has been received (for the most part). I hope it’s not an indication, though, that results will be super delayed, as they are still figuring out what applicants are missing before they deliberate.

Eh, I’ll send in my stuff and pray for the best :)

Do you guys mind listing off some computer/engineer based clubs at your schools? I am planning on starting one this year! Currently at our school there is TSA and some digital technology club, but I really feel like making a revolutionary technology/engineering based club at my school.

entrevox–i agree, i’d be happy for anything (but i already got my confirmation because i had mailing issues hehe :P)

BUT GUYS CAN I RANT FOR A SECOND ABOUT HOW MUCH I HATE MY CALC TEACHER
okay well a while back we took a test and i got a half point off (i knowwwww it’s just a half point and it didn’t make a difference but it’s just the principle of the thing so hear me out) and i asked him why he took it off and he said that it was a silly mistake that other people didn’t miss points for, but he “expects more of me and holds me to a higher standard” (should be "double you, tee, eff) annoying. so then today we got a test back, and i got -5 (out of 40 *gasp) so i asked him what was wrong, and he said it was a grading mistake and really my answer was right, so he decided to give me 4 out of 5 points back. *** (double you, tee, eff)?!? again, the single point doesn’t make a difference cause i still got 39/40 but omg he just **es (urinates? lol) me off.

And just in case anyone wanted to know, apparently, MITES called my parents at my home phone number tonight asking for my second semester grades. I was expecting them to ask for them; the semester hadn’t ended when the application was due. I’m just relieved now that it’s the only thing that they need from me :D
