The table there shows what organizations/companies are recruiting MMSS students this quarter. The quarter just started, so that’s why there are only two listed. Last quarter, one of the companies shown on the table was McKinsey. Many of these companies also recruit the general NU population and hold campus-wide interviews but when they appear on this table, they are specificly recruiting MMSS students on top of their university-wide recruiting.

The program was founded under the leadership of Dean Rudy Weingarter as a special interdisciplinary program in the social sciences…The founding faculty also thought that the program would help generate student interest in research careers in the social sciences. Although the program has had some success along these dimensions, some of its accomplishments were not fully anticipated. For one, the appeal of our students to the business community turned out to be an imporant aspect of its ultimate success.

<p>I heard from a few people in it said it’s a rigorous program but they all said it’s worth it.</p>
