Modern Jewish History - Book Group

How about this - I think we take a break for right now. I would like to pick it up again in the not too distant future.

I would like to stay with the original premise and concentrate on roughly 1900-present. And I think it makes sense to proceed in chronological order. So - I am going to look for some 1920’s - 1930’s pre-World War II ideas - and I will get back to everyone in a few weeks with some suggestions. My preference is either historical fiction or a “light” non-fiction - not too dry - and of a reasonable length - no 400-page books for me - I’ll never get through them.

I realize everyone has different tastes and probably varying opinions on this - but trying to find common ground that would not be objectionable to anyone. I’ll report back when I have some titles in mind.
