<p>My D is in nursing school and yes, the Ebola threat did cross my mind. My D is not concerned about it though. She was at her clinical the other day and had to wear protective gear when attending to one patient. When the nursing students entered the patients room, the TV was tuned to the Ebola news. She said it did make them all stop and think.
Like everyone else here has expressed, every profession has it’s risks and nursing is no different. My mom worries about me working at an elementary school with a room that is the first stop after entering the front door.</p>
<p>I had an insurance physical the other day and the nurse who did it told me that most nurses won’t get a flu shot. Now there’s a thread topic! Lol.</p>
