I remember Luke & Laura’s wedding so clearly! When I was in HS/early college strangers would come up and tell me I looked like Laura 
I never got a single other celebrity look-alike comment! So have a soft spot for that era, lol.

writer and director Robert Benton has passed away at age 92. The two films I remember him for were “Kramer vs. Kramer" and “Places in the Heart" each of which he both wrote and directed.

Thanks for posting this. We visited Auschwitz, Birkenau, and Treblinka during the last two weeks. We also saw one of the two remaining walls of the Warsaw Ghetto. I had no idea that almost all of Warsaw was leveled by the Germans.

I wish every teenager could take a trip to Poland and see what we did. It’s sad there will not be any Holocaust survivors before long.
