<p>I lived in Berkeley for two years, and it doesn’t have AC. None dorms do (Swing is the exception), renovated or not. All you really need is a fan, and you need that only for the first 2 weeks or so of school. I lived in Vanderbilt before it was renovated, and it was hotter than most dorms, so have plenty of fans if you are a freshman.</p>
