Most Complicated UCLA/UCB Decision Ever

<p>So here’s my deal:</p>

<p>I got into Berkeley as a Spring admit, and UCLA for the fall PROVIDED that I get a B in my spring math course and maintain an overall 3.65 gpa.</p>

<p>This is when it gets messy. I haven’t SIR’d to either because I appealed to Berkeley for a fall admission, and am still waiting to hear back (we’ve received you’re application please check this page for updates etc etc.)</p>

<p>But I got a C in math and haven’t received half my spring grades, so I won’t be fulfilling UCLA’s provisions. (However, I’ll be getting over a 3.0 regardless).</p>

<p>Also, am I equally screwed for not having sent in my fall grades already? My admission letter said that all my transcripts had to be in by 7/15, so I’d assumed I was okay.</p>

<p>I’m just FREAKING OUT that I’ll send in the SIR to UCLA, get RESCINDED, and never go to a UC. </p>

<p>Basically, what are my chances of getting rescinded from UCLA?</p>

<p>im thinkin youll get rescinded. not to be a jerk, but you broke the deal. but if youre a religious person you know the divine spirits will make a way to prevail, if its mean to be. good luck, youll eventually get what you want.</p>

<p>…Im sorry for your situation. Its quiet complicated. If you received a C in the math class, you didn’t fulfill the provision, so your admission will be rescinded. Its obvious that you won’t get into ucla, so take cal.</p>

<p>fyi, for ucla, the due date to send the transcripts up to fall 2010 is June, 1, which is tomorrow. the transcripts of spring 2011 is due July 15.</p>

<p>its 11:39 have you made a decision yet?? i say go to cal, it has the top ranked english program in the us (ucla is great too, though, but provision is broken with that C). even if you don’t get to start fall 2011, spring admission better than getting rescinded! i personally would feel more comfortable sir’ing with uc berkeley.</p>

<p>what do u guys mean with fall 2010 transcripts due june 1st? is that only for UCLA?</p>

<p>From my understanding Fall 2010 grades are just to be updated on your UC application and then when Spring 2011 grades are up they are due July 15th. Summer transcripts due Sept 15th? </p>

<p>Am i wrong?</p>

<p>@ucigirl5 You need to have your official transcripts up until fall 2010 to UCLA by June 1st, and your official spring transcripts to them by July 15th. </p>
