Most Controversial/Unknown SAT Questions

That sessions one *ed me off. For some reason I used 90 minutes( should have been 180 ) for the total time and got lost from there. I realized the right answer right before the proctor called time. I wanted to go bnack and change it!! I was planning to go back throughout the whole test and never did. I kept on thinking change 12 from a to b. It *es me off cuz trhat could have been the difference between a 720 and 750.

First of all, Only II WAS an option, because that was the right answer.

Choice III was |a| x |b| > 100, correct?

If a = 0, and b = say, 110, obviously 0 x 110 is not greater than 100.

0 IS an integer.

Even if you didn’t think of 0, you could choose the points -1 and 100 (those are more than 100 spaces apart)… |-1| = 1, |100| = 100… 1x100 is not > 100

The wren one… ‘particular in’ doesn’t make sense. I think it should be ‘particular to.’

The sessions one… I didn’t really like how it was worded, but I think I got it right, 36.

It said 12 minute breaks are between CONSECUTIVE PARTS of the test, with the whole test being 180 minutes.
I believe it would look like this:

36 min test
12 min break
36 min test
12 min break
36 min test
12 min break
36 min test

I think II only was choice A…can anyone confirm this?

I thought II was (A) too…

Yeah, I think you’re right with (A).

Either way, I think I’ve confirmed it to be II only.

Damnit, if only I hadn’t gotten that 3-4-6 triangle one wrong, I think I’dve gotten an 800! Why didn’t I just draw it out?!

Arg.
Freakin’ math curve.

1 B
2 B
3 A

I am positive about number three and now realize that the other two are wrong.

“Damnit, if only I hadn’t gotten that 3-4-6 triangle one wrong, I think I’dve gotten an 800! Why didn’t I just draw it out?!”

I feel the exact same way.

I think that people make the math curve out to be harder than it really is though. I got 7 points off last time and got a 700. If I get my best case scenario (1 wrong), I’m hoping for 780-800 (maybe 770).

Yeah, I’d be content with a 790 (or a 780 I suppose).

I don’t think it really matters for discrepencies after 750+
