Chemistry and Calculus were my favorites, and are obviously great for engineering majors. I had amazing teachers in both subjects though, so I can’t imagine what would have happened if I tried to do them with a bad teacher… If you want to get yourself killed by insane papers and criticizing books to death take English Composition/Literature. At least it will get you ready for college english

Id have to say that the most important AP class is the one that you learn the most from and the one that you really love going to. I’d say that taking Calc or Stats would be helpful in terms of college. Not admissions neccessarily but at most colleges you have to take a stat or calc class so why not get it out of the way now? And also Lit and Lang are helpful because they get you used to the strenuous college style of writing. I guess all AP’s have an advantage in some way or another. It all depends on what you’re interested in.

I’d say some of the best AP classes to take are ones that either: relate to your planned career or ones you find interesting. Sadly, my school only offers thirteen and doesn’t offer that many good ones, such as AP Physics. However, this is my personal opinion (based from my school’s AP and a few others).
- AP Language/Literature Composition
- AP Chemistry/Biology/Physics (in that order)
- US History/European History/World History (that order)
- AP Math classes
From here down it kind of depends on what you want to do, but for me it’s: - AP Psychology
- Human Geo
- AP Music Theory/Art History/Studio
I don’t know about the others because my school does’t offer them.
