Most important programming languages in theoretical physics?

<p>As for languages, I’d imagine C/C++ and Java. Those are used for everything.</p>

<p>Matlab is also used a lot for mathematical programming, but wait until you’ve taken linear algebra for that one.</p>

<p>I’d take a data structures class and an algorithms class over discrete structures.</p>

<p>What’s a “basic calculus based course in C++ programming?” I’ve never heard of calculus and C++ combined into a basic programming class.</p>
