My D23 shares similar interest and is at the same cross road as OP.
She has acceptances from MHC, Kenyon, Whitman, Willamette. BMC was her top choice but waitlisted. Inclined towards Whitman or MHC.
Santa Clara Univ and Univ of San Francisco are other local options but she is not too keen staying local.
@Lindagaf would love to get your perspective if you are familiar with Whitman/Willamette.
