<p>We dropped S off at HC today and finally got to see the apartments firsthand. They made me think back to your comments such as:</p>
<p>“One bit of truth though - as a mom I was horrified by the apts. They were dingy, ugly and it was clear that mice had visited.”</p>
<p>We were less than thrilled (especially with the wet floors in the basement) but they seemed to have gotten better (e.g., less dingy). S didn’t feel there were going to be any issues. We met a number of upperclass students who were living in the apartments by choice and all of them were very happy with the extra room, useable kitchen, mild isolation of the location, etc. For now, all is well. I hope others have an equally positive experience.</p>
