<p>To maximize space of course lofting it would do it because theres that much room. I dont know what semi loft beds are but the standard beds thatt they have can go up pretty high where you can fit a good amount of stuff under it, Id say over 2 feet. But lofting it owuld give the most room cause you can put a tv under and a futon or anything</p>
