<p>Many students seem to prefer fewer meals / more points because they can get food wherever they are, and are less tied to the dining hall. Just keep in mind — the "math " doesn’t generally work and you WILL be running out of points part way through the semester, unless you skip a lot of meals. These high-point plans may make sense for you … but they are also a money maker for the food services vendor, who runs both the dining halls and the other food locations on campus. I encourage everyone who needs to watch a budget to make sure that getting most of your meals at the dining hall (which includes sack lunches/dinners by request and the continuous service Kent location on main campus) is not the best financial choice, since you have to purchase a plan anyway – and are going to pay a lot for it!</p>
