<p>I wrote to Elmer Bernstein when I lived in Lafayette, California about how much I loved his soundtrack for the Magnificent Seven many years ago and he wrote back that he had received so much fan mail from Lafayette, that he couldn’t repay it. All my friends wrote to him as well. You can imagine why I say now, The Magnificent Seven soundtrack, is right up there among the greats…:)</p>

<p>To Kill a Mockingbird. The theme sends chills up and down my spine. Go to YouTube and listen to the theme played on piano only - omigosh!</p>

<p>O Brother, Where Art Thou? is my all-time favorite.</p>

<p>O Brother, Where Art Thou and Road to Perdition are my favorites. I listen to both of these often. I also love Wedding Singer, Shrek, Forrest Gump, and Big Chill.</p>

I also like Romeo & Juliet- the version with Leo diCaprio & Claire Danes.</p>

<p>Yes! Great soundtrack. That is one of the movies that we can watch over and over without getting tired of it :)</p>

<p>I’m a big sucker for Disney’s classics. The Lion King soundtrack is probably at the top of my favorites’ list.</p>

<p>I really liked Hans Zimmer’s score written for the (otherwise very forgettable) movie Broken Arrow:</p>

<p>I like the soundtrack for Inception–also by Zimmer. And now you’re hearing that big BLAAAAAHHHHH sound everywhere.</p>

<p>But I was watching a tape of Gladiator the other day, and I said to myself, “Why are they playing the music from Pirates of the Caribbean?” So sometimes Zimmer’s music may be a bit too familiar.</p>
