All that you have to decide is what to watch in the time that is given to you.
I’m astonished that I’m only the second person here to mention Lord of the Rings.

Mr. Sabaray will watch anything that has “Bourne” in the title. Over and over. He knows all the lines!
Lots of movies here that I re-watch. Pretty much any old musical–Singing in the Rain, Oklahoma, Music Man,The Sound of Music, West Side Story, Mary Poppins, etc., etc. Know them all, know all the songs. . . But there are a few movies that I’ve seen SO many times, I have them memorized: Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, Chariots of Fire, Sense and Sensibility (with Emma Thompson/Kate Winslet), Casablanca, Home Alone, Napoleon Dynamite, It’s a Wonderful Life, To Kill a Mockingbird.
H and I are TCM addicts
Ah, yes, Terms of Endearment. And, whether you want to call it Les Enfants du Paradis or Children of Paradise – magnifique!

I rented Across the Universe the year it came out. DD loved so much I gave it to her for her next birthday. Since then, we’ve watched it on or around her birthday every year.
According to Netflix my husband and I have rated 1,593 movies (and counting). We have a lot of favorite movies, and watching any and all movies (except for horror for me) is a hobby for us.
We just went to see The Maltese Falcon at the movie theater-they had a special showing of it, and it’s one of our favorite movies. It was a blast seeing it on the big screen.
When I’m working on art I have a few movies I tend to watch over and over again just to have the sound on in the background-Charlie’s Angels and Charlie’s Angels Full Throttle are always on heavy rotation, as is Rock of Ages and The Thomas Crown Affair. I have no idea why I gravitate towards these when I’m working, but I don’t overthink it because it works for me.
@Mansfield Last year we went to a wide screen theatrical presentation of The Wizard of OZ (thanks TCM) . The theater was full of parents and young kids–most under 10 yrs old. I can’t tell you how satisfied I was when the new generation of children gasped when the color change happened. (and screamed when the flyingmonkeys chased Dorothy)
