Movies we have watched multiple times...

First Wives Club, The Kings Speech, Bridesmaids.

TCM has been running all kinds of great Oscar winning movies lately.

Ah…I love To Sir With Love…and I love the song sung by Lulu

And how could I forget to also add Audrey Hepburn and Katherine Hepburn movies!?!

More as they come into my memory:

  • Blues Brothers (if only to watch the destructiveness). "I hate Illinois Nazis!"
  • 2001
  • Coming to America
  • Apocalypse Now (especially the Redux version with the extra scenes added in).
  • The Spy Who Came In From The Cold
  • Die Hard 1 and 2
  • The Producers
  • Bananas
  • Take The Money And Run
  • Annie Hall
  • Hannah And Her Sisters

Christmas. …elf, a wonderful life, Christmas story, love actually

Independence day
Groundhog Day
You’ve Got Mail
Bridget Jones Diary
Pride and Prejudice. …how I wish it was Colin Firth and Keira Knightly together
As Good as it gets
Somethings Gotta Give (my dream home)…actually all of her movies are my dream home

For whatever reason, I also like The American President (its on now).

I liked Lilies of the Field better than to Sir with Love. I will watch it any time I see it on.

Some of these lists are so long…great topic OP, but maybe next time make the the top 3 movies you have watched the most…haha

There are quite a few for me. Most have already been mentioned (Shawshank, Princess Bride, Sabrina, Remember the Titans…), but I have to add the original Zoolander to the list. My entire family loves it, although the recent sequel was a huge disappointment.

Most have been mentioned, but I love…

Interesting to see everyone’s favorites. I have read throughout the comments on this thread and agreed with many , but then see movies I have disdain for in the same comments as ones I love, Amazing how our tastes vary so much. I know when channel surfing if it is a movie my husband and I can watch together or like at the same time. One thing we have in common with movie tastes is the element of what he refrs to as " brainless " …translation , pleasant , funny or positive with little violence or death

Diner is on TCM right now. Don’t see it on anyone’s list here so I’m adding it. Great movie.

^ great minds think alike - just coming to post the same thing! After Diner, Apollo 13 and then Philadelphia.

The Godfather I & II
Sound of Music
Dr. Strangelove
Ten Comandments (part of every Passover!)
It’s a Wonderful Life

We clearly don’t watch many movies compared to most of you!

S1 and S2 tell me that the fact I’ve never seen Princess Bride is an indictment of my parenting skills.

Just caught the movie “Focus” on my last free day of HBO.

Rewatched it the same day with H when he came home.

It features Will Smith as a con man and adorable Margo Robbie as the female lead. It is light, clever, entertaining and good for women and men.

^^ I loved that movie.

How could I have forgotten these two favorites?

*The Money Pit/i.
Places in the Heart. Need a hanky every time.

@lje62 Sound a little like our situation. Our movie tastes are different except we both enjoy comedies. She will sit through some action like Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. I am a poor husband, I guess, because I have no interest in sitting through her ‘chick flicks’.

Might have missed these on previous lists but:
The Sting
My Best Friend’s Wedding
Scarface
All Austin Powers movies
Splendor in the Grass
