Paco - I don’t know what kind of issue you are having with your parents, but it may just blow over come Sep. In the last year, in 2 separate occassions, my daughter’s friends’ parents have threatened to pull them out of Cornell if they didn’t do… One was over xmas break, and another just a month ago. After they calmed down, they realized it was a silly threat. You may want to just try to make up with your parents, as unreasonable as they may be, so you could finish off your senior year.

I have a suspicion they don’t agree with your major or career path. If you could, try to say or do what they want in order to get them to pay. I am not sure if you could take out a student loan without a gurantor. You may want to speak with your financial aide office. When you return to Princeton try to get a job as a tutor (music, math…). In NJ it’s not unusual to get paid $50+/hr for tutoring, especially from a student from Princeton.

Good luck.
