Here is the page about the MPE https://www-math.umd.edu/placement-test-information.html but unfortunately I don’t know what the score for placement into 140 is. I only know that 140 is the highest you can “place” but that if you do place into 140 AND have an AP score on Calc BC of 4 or 5, you can start with MATH 241
FYI to note
“What happens if a student doesn’t place into the course that they need for their course of study? A student may retake the placement test to improve a placement. However, a student may take the placement test only once during an academic year semester and is allowed to retake it only once during the summer.”
