Thought I would add awareness/information to this thread about The Lilly Awards which were created to fight for gender parity in productions nationwide, and celebrate the work of women in theatre.

The Lilly Awards Foundation works to celebrate and honor women working in the theater, and fights for gender parity in theaters nationwide. Our programs include a Broadway mentorship, a spring reading series, and a family-friendly Colony initiative to ensure that writers with children can attend the high-profile summer residencies. Most importantly, we continue with The Count, our groundbreaking national study to determine who is being produced in the American Theater. We also hold the hot-ticket high-spirited Lilly Awards Ceremony in the spring.
