<p>UK schools offer an interesting alternative to US schools:</p>
<ol>
<li><p>You get your BA in 3 years (which seems more like a US BFA to me) and a Masters in 4.</p></li>
<li><p>The level of acting training in the UK seems to be highly regarded.</p></li>
<li><p>The costs are quite reasonable compared to the list price of private schools in the US, although the relatively high cost of living and travel have to be factored in.</p></li>
<li><p>International experience.</p></li>

<p>There are disadvantages as well that are discussed in the thread noted above (difficult to pursue Summer Stock work in the US, lack of a US network upon graduation, visa issues if you would like to stay and work in the UK, etc.).</p>
