<p>Well, Northwestern has a special WCAS/School of Music Double Degree 5-year program, and I was hoping that the “joint major” as they describe the MMSS/Econ might be technically counted as one major on it’s own (just like various math-econ majors at other schools).</p>
<p>Plus on the Program Overview on the MMSS website, they state that: </p>
<p>“The option of obtaining a minor or an additional (third) major in mathematics is also offered for students who wish to pursue mathematics more deeply.”</p>
<p>Here they refer to a “triple major” being acceptable, although they are speaking about math here so I’m still not entirely sure…</p>
