Before I email the admissions office, I’d like to find out if anyone knows any MMSS, Econ and Physics majors at NU [who are still graduating in 4 years].

From the MMSS website:
“In addition to the traditional social science disciplines - anthropology, economics, history, linguistics, political science, psychology, and sociology, other fields such as Slavic studies, cognitive sciences, computer sciences, mathematics, and statistics have been chosen as joint majors by students in the MMSS program.”

Since cog/comp sci etc. wouldn’t count as social sciences, does this mean they would have to be taken as triples? If so, shouldn’t a physics triple be somewhat feasible?

Before everyone starts calling me crazy, I’d like to say that the only reason I’m thinking of this is because I really like physics and it comes quite naturally to me. Moreover, the concentration I had in mind was computational physics, which sounds a little like MMSS for hard sciences. Sounds fascinating.

I won’t ask about the adding the certificates on top of that… ><
