i got into syracuse but i wasn’t accepted into the bandier program (just the music history and cultures major at the college of arts and sci) and i was told that they don’t accept transfers into the bandier program, that you had to be accepted as a freshman to do it, so the choice was pretty obvious for me. but i’m not gonna lie, had i been accepted, i most likely would’ve chosen syracuse.

i won’t know more about what specific co-ops there are until the fall so i’m sorry i can’t help you out there. but the main reason why i chose neu was because of co-op. boston has a lot of music venues and some independent record labels that a lot of students do their co-ops at but most go out of state for their co-ops, mostly to new york city or los angeles because those cities have so much more to offer music-opportunities-wise. just finished freshman year here two weeks ago and i LOVED every day of it.

they’re both great schools so good luck on your choice! (i think most people had to choose a school by now so i’m incredibly sorry if this post is too late to help you decide)
