Do you mean your daughter will be a HS senior in fall 2024?
Hello all. Thank you all so much for the information and the questions/comments, as well as those who also PM-ed with me. This was a great learning experience. Also, during the past few weeks, we have done more soul-searching 
and added some parameters to our college search. With those added parameters (distance from home in California and overall university ranking), I think this wish of having MT inside the music school is lower on our priority list. Nevertheless, we have UIUCâs Lyric Theater, U Coloradoâs BMMT and ASU on our list, among other schools. But we also realized that most of these other schools do have a vibrant MT community so she may still be okay. Also, many schools have a ton of student-run ensembles or clubs, including show Choirs or the like.
Does FSU have a new program director? I understand one of the two heads of the program was retiring last year, and they were conducting a search for her replacement, but havenât seen any announcements for a new one. I suppose they only need one, but I assume it was because of the dual tracts, BM or BFA, that they had two heads of program. Thx.
