Musical theatre programs not in top 10

@Rocketwoman37
I am the Director of Academic & Student Services for the School of Theatre at FSU, so I’m pretty biased when it comes to what the program is like (LOL) but if you contact me directly, I’d be glad to put you in touch with a couple of students who can answer your questions. We encourage them to be frank about the good, the bad and the ugly, as it were.
As for the waiver; every out-of-state student admitted to MT receives a waiver of 50% of the out-of-state portion of the tuition for talent. Some will receive 100% waiver for exceptional academics. In addition, there is departmental scholarship money awarded on a year-by-year basis; the amounts vary. As MTDadandProud stated above, we try to get it as close to in state as we can.
Please don’t hesitate to ask questions- I don’t check this Forum every day and I don’t always get the email notifications, so if I don’t respond, email me directly.
