@annamom You don’t need a microwave - you get a microwave and stove/small kitchenette in all the dorms. A small refrigerator and a plastic cover for your mattress (under the sheets) is what I usually recommend as a must.
Your bed won’t come with bed bugs, but if there’s an outbreak you want to know you’ll be safe.
