My chances for honors fall 2012? Please!

If she has a great weighted GPA, which seems like she does by looking at her unweighted GPA, then she’ll get the highest scholarship of $9,600 spread over four years. A 30-31 with that GPA will usually cause them to offer the applicant a spot in the honors program. Additionally, she’ll be getting FAS (Florida Academic Scholars) from Bright Futures, which is the highest level.

As for musical theatre, it’s one of the most competitive theatre programs in the United States. You must audition in late fall, fill out all the required forms that entail resumes, letters of recommendations, photos, etc… anything that you’d find in an actor/singer’s portfolio. Though tedious, it pays off if you can get into the program. It’s extremely difficult to get a spot, and just slightly less competitive than Tisch. She should still go to FSU regardless of her major because there are a lot of theatre opportunities on the campus. It’s the best Liberal Arts-like school in the state and definitely the most artsy in terms of prestige.

Break a leg! :)
