I’m currently a student at FSU 
I was offered admission into the honors program when I applied, and I think you have nearly the strengths to get in, perhaps your ACT score being your weakness.
As UF goes, I was accepted to UF but not their honors program.
I had a 32 on the ACT, was in the top 4% of my school, passed 10 APs and participated in many clubs. The people I know that got accepted to UF’s honors program all had SAT scores over 1400 or had at least a 33 on their ACT, but I don’t know UF’s actual criteria.
But FSU is awesome! And our honors program is amazing as well but of course, I’m a little bias ha!</p>
