<p>If I remember correctly from some recent Mudd literature, the freshman class is about 25% girls. They also mentioned that they are looking to even it out with this year’s incoming class. So, yes, girls probably will have a better chance to get into Mudd this year.</p>
<p>And, also, if I remember correctly, Mudd won’t even look at your ACT score.</p>
<p>As for your chances (I’m saying this as a recent ED accepted student, so take that as you will), I’d agree with the 45% already stated. Most of your ability to get in would hinge on you improving your SATs a bit (the average for math is about 770, for cr about 720, and the average w about 700-ish) and having awesome essays and recommendations. As far as the SATs go though, I wouldn’t stress too much if you don’t totally meet your goal. my math SAT was 730 and I sill got in. Essays and teacher recs are likely much more important.</p>
