MY Chances?

Your GPA is doing fine, and you said you took a variety of AP courses, so that’s good. Your ECs look great as well.

I know the ACT a lot better than I do the SAT… so I found two conversion charts…

<a href=“Page Not Found”>Unexpected error;

[SAT-ACT Conversion chart](http://www.spartanburg6.k12.sc.us/dhs/Guidance%20website/SAT-ACT%20Conversion%20chart.html)

One of them says you got a score equivalent to a 22 and the other says about 25-26. The middle 50% of Carleton has ACT scores of 28-32. That would put you toward the low end of Carleton in terms of your SAT score. That can definitely hurt you; it will hurt you especially if you are in the state of MN and are caucasian.

Here’s a great site showing the average SAT and ACT scores of certain colleges:
[Average SAT/ACT Scores](http://www.ophs.opusd.k12.ca.us/average_sat_act_scores.htm)

You want to be at or above the average for chances at admission. It does not report Carleton’s average ACT score, but it will show you a lot of other colleges. It’ll show you where your score can fit in.
