<p>The thing with the Met classes he’s trying to get into is that for some reason the department significantly lowered the number of seats for the classes (like from 50 to 30 for one, and 25 to 12 for the two sections for the other class), and they were already pretty much full before the department did that. </p>
<p>If he hasn’t registered yet (and since his Orientation isn’t until August 3rd, it would appear likely that this hasn’t happened yet), then his best bet is to hope that his advisor at Orientation allows him to register for those two classes. Ms Burns may do that for him. If that doesn’t work, then he’s going to have to talk to the professors the first day of class and hope that they will allow him to register for the classes anyway.</p>
