My daughter's chances

Your daughter should have a decent chance. I highly recommend checking out the UGA Admissions Blog.

As far as your daughter’s scores are concerned, I recommend working through something like the Princeton Review books for the SAT and ACT. Her ACT score is in the mid 50%, but her SAT scores are a bit lower than the mid 50% for this year’s class. And having taken each test once, she should have a decent idea of what to expect and that should help.

This link posts information on this year’s EA admits. The mid 50% for CR & M was 1240-1390, with a writing score of 654. The mid 50% for the ACT was 28-32.

I know for my child it was a relief to know on December 11 that they were in. So, encourage your daughter to keep working hard, talk to her guidance counselor about EA vs. RD, and Good Luck!
