I’ve been thinking about you, sunrise, as Thanksgiving approaches. Although I am disappointed by the latest news, I share your hope that you and your doctor will find a way to reverse the apparent rise in cancer activity. I hope that you and your family have a good holiday together.

Sunrise- I worked in a clinical lab, mistakes happen. Samples get switched, wrongly labelled, become contaminated, assays go “off” and so on. The fact that the numbers are the exactly 101 different from one month to the next would raise alarm bells in my head.
Let us know the retest results. Do you have to wait till after Thanksgiving to have blood drawn?

Sending you cyberhugs! You are in all our hearts!

I was just wondering about you, sunrise east as my two sons come home, and I read your news today and send you my best thoughts, prayers and support. Of course, true to your MO…your mind is racing ahead to how your husband can travel his bridge post transplant…and the support he will need to cross that challenge. Comforted by knowing your sons and husband must be with you for this holiday season…your fellow parent in SW VA

Sunrise I continue to send my good thoughts, hugs and prayers to you and your family.

I came to this thread because you were on my mind. I am sorry for you news, yet I am thankful and grateful that you and dear H are still with us. I hope that you know how many lives and hearts you have touched with your journey and how many of us are rooting for you and holding you up in prayer. Wishing you and yours a peaceful and a blessed thanksgiving.

I am so, so sorry you have received this news. I can only hope that you are feeling well enough to enjoy the holiday with your family. I don’t know if your sons will be in town or not. I hope so.

I, too, find it strange that your number went up by the same number it went down the last time. Hoping there is human error involved here. Sending prayers, hugs, and positive thoughts your way.

Hugs and prayers to you and your family.

Sunrise - I read all of your posts and you are often in my thoughts. Wishing you and your family Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving, Sunrise. Keeping you and your husband and wonderful sons in my thoughts.

I attended a recent lecture at a research facility. It was said that sometimes scans and numbers can go up when treatment is initiated as a result of cell death from tx and the swelling of dead tissue and release of cell contents. I hope this is the case for you.

sunrise: I’m so sorry about your news today. Sending you and your DH my best.
