my diagnosis of advanced cancer: how to help my kids

I hope Sunriseeast and husband have enjoyed having their sons home as much as we did…our youngest returns to college for his senior spring semester today…empty rooms again.
Thinking of your well-being, Sunrise and sending you warm thoughts and care.

Although I don’t post much on this thread, it is what keeps me returning to CC on a regular basis. I think about you often, Sunrise.

I’m adding my flower to the virtual bouquet.

Thinking of you Sunrise, and wishing you peace and comfort in this New Year.

Thinking of you and adding a soft stuffed teddy bear to the virtual hearts & flowers

Hoping that the reason Sunrise hasn’t posted is a good one…like she is enjoying time with her sweet family, or that her H has gotten lucky on the transplant list…

Sending sunshine to sunrise…

@Sunrise : I’m a new member at CC and I just read your posts and honestly, though I am still a high school student(sorry for intruding the parent thread haha…), u inspire me so much. I truly hope you are doing well. I’m going to tell my whole family to read this, I’m sure they will be as inspired as me.

Although many of us don’t know you, reading your posts has made us feel 10 steps closer to you. We love you! You can do this! :)

sunrise, I saw this and thought of you. Thank you for sharing your light with us. Sending more positive thoughts to you, DH and your sons.

add my wishes too.

I also check this thread frequently. Sunshine, wishing you peace, abundance, and unity with loved ones and nature throughout the year. This for your readers also.

And a quote by a favorite author, “Anonymous.: " Your Merry Christmas (or other gift-bearing holiday) may depend on what others do for you. But your Happy New Year depends on what you do for others.”

Sunrise, you have already fulfilled the New Year’s “obligation” many times over by the wisdom, humor, and insights you have shared with us. Thanks and blessings, J

I’ve been following this thread for some time, but never have posted. But I think of you, sunrise, frequently, and wish you the best.

Just want you to know, sunrise, that I think of you every day and hope that you are doing well. When you can, let us know how you’re doing. If you’re having a “down” time, it’s ok. No one can be positive all of the time. We are all here to pick you up. If you’re busy, I’m glad you have the energy to be busy. If your husband is the focus of your attention right now, do what you need to do. I’m really hoping that he is recovering from a transplant.

Wishing you the best.

Thinking of you

sending you a prayer of love and support from one of your Virginia fellow parents

Hi, all – got an email from sunrise. She said she is having a really tough time right now, but when she is feeling better, she’ll post. She is one tenacious fighter, and I wish I could be half as comforting and serene as she is.

Keep the love coming!

Thank you, Countdown!

Sunrise–sending you love and prayers.

Thanks for the update, CD.

Hoping for renewed health & strength for sunrise.

Thanks so much for the update.

{{{Hugs}}} This is also my first post this thread, but I’ve been reading it for a long time.

Sunrise, sending positive thoughts to you. It should be easy for you to count your blessings since you are surrounded by them and they pave the road of your difficult journey with an abundance of love. I hope it helps you in your weaker moments.

Countingdown, thank you for the update.

Sunrise, I will continue to hold you in my thoughts.

Sunrise, sending very positive healing thoughts! I don’t post much, but check here every day to see how you are doing.
