If you are at a party, in a house or in a car and alcohol (applies only to underage of course) or drugs are in a common area—all persons present can be charged. Be very careful about what someone might bring in or be carrying on them. For instance, a student has some type of illegal drug on his person and is a passenger in a car, the car is pulled for whatever and person stashed in map pocket or underseat—everyone can be charged. If the substance is only in a person’s pocket, then only that person charged.</p>
